The Rebel Learning Lounge is designed to provide undergraduate students flexible support outside of traditional hours. Whether you’re looking for academic help, a welcoming place to study, or a community to connect with – we’re here for you! The Lounge is open Sunday through Thursday, 5:00-8:00 pm, throughout the 16-week semester. Our services are available to all currently enrolled students.

Tutoring

The 51ԹϺ Student Success team offers complimentary tutoring services to all undergraduate students. Support is offered through in-person campus tutoring opportunities and online via NetTutor. In-person sessions are led by current 51ԹϺ students who have successfully completed the supported courses with a grade of “B” or higher and have been recommended by academic faculty. These sessions provide structured study time with peers, subject material reviews, and strategies to enhance understanding of course content.

Success Coaching

Success Coaching provides one-on-one engagement opportunities to help students set and achieve academic, personal, and professional goals. The coach-student partnership is an important accountability component for every student as they navigate the college experience. Success Coaches engage students virtually and in-person to dive into topics: time management, study skills, self-care, self-advocacy, and communication skills. Peer Mentoring

Peer mentoring is a campus-wide initiative designed to support student success. Peer mentors are also undergraduate students who can share their personal experiences and provide guidance and support. Peer mentors are role models who provide emotional support and validation, assist their mentees in navigating campus resources, and help mentees with goal development and achievement by providing guidance, support, and accountability.
