In its long-term plan, Las Vegas has made a commitment to plant 60,000 trees by 2050, said Marco Velotta, the city’s chief sustainability officer, in a statement. Other initiatives, such as the 51�ԹϺ��� Urban Forestry Center, are boosting tree canopy throughout the valley, as well.
