Accomplishments: Division of Student Affairs

Starr Wharton (Student Wellness) has been selected by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing as a national task force member to review and revise the Standards of Practice for Health Education.
Debra Meyer (Wellness Promotion) has become one of the first licensed dietitians in Nevada. Registered dietitians are able to provide nutrition and diet analysis, recommendations, and prescriptions.
Phillip Burns (Student Conduct) recently was named to serve as a faculty fellow at the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA) Donald D. Gehring Academy, which will be held at the University of Louisville in July. He also serves on the ASCA Board of Directors, representing four-year public institution members.
Phil Burns (Student Conduct) has been elected to the national Board of Directors for the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA). He also will be serving as director for four-year public institutions and will be chairing ASCA's Leadership Committee. His term will be 2013 through 2015.
