She’s just eight but is inspiring kids and adults across the country. We’ve been following the story of Hailey Dawson on her Journey to 30 and now, she’s completed her mission to throw out the first pitch at each MLB ballpark.

History was made Sunday afternoon at Angels stadium as 8 year old, Hailey Dawson, achieved her quest to become the first person the throw out the first pitch at all thirty Major League ballparks using her robotic right hand that was made by a 3-D printer.

An inspiring journey that began more than three years ago was completed at Angel Stadium on Sunday afternoon, as 8-year-old Hailey Dawson achieved her quest to become the first person to throw out the first pitch at all 30 Major League ballparks.

A year ago, the world met Hailey Dawson, a young girl who has a 3D-printed right hand. Hailey loves baseball, and back then, she said her goal was to throw out a first pitch — with her 3D-printed hand, of course — at every major league ballpark. And just over 12 months later, the 8-year-old accomplished her inspiring “Journey to 30” when she threw out a first pitch at her 30th and final MLB park on Sunday.

An inspiring 8-year-old with a 3-D-printed prosthetic hand has achieved her personal goal to throw out the first pitch at every major league ballpark.

Hailey Dawson likes to be photographed with her 3D-printed hand front and center. Sometimes she curls it into a fist and flexes her biceps. Other times she keeps it flat as a pancake, elbow bent into a classic dab.

There's a potential new, modern way to utilize one of the nation's greatest engineering feats. Hoover Dam, an engineering marvel of the 20th century made of concrete and steel continues to generate a significant amount of energy to power the southwest, but it may eventually serve another purpose.

The Hoover Dam was a 20th Century marvel but engineers say it is time for the dam to hit its full potential.
