Aspiring restaurateurs looking for a formal education in the fast casual industry will soon be able to turn to 51�ԹϺ���'s Harrah College of Hospitality. Thanks to a $5 million gift from Andrew and Peggy Cherng, co-founders and co-chief executive officers of Panda Restaurant Group — the parent company of Panda Express — the college has created an academic program in fast casual dining.

Each semester, about 200 students graduate from 51�ԹϺ���’s hospitality college.

The university says it’s San Manuel’s largest out-of-state philanthropic gift bestowed on an educational institution. The Native American group is based in Southern California’s San Bernardino County.
