51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Legislative Priorities
The 83rd Session of the Nevada Legislature began on Feb. 3, and higher education will be the topic of many discussions throughout the session. Investing in higher education is essential to Nevada’s success today and to its future prosperity. The 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Office of Government & Community Engagement is committed to working with the Nevada System of Higher Education, legislators, and the Governor’s office to highlight the many ways 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ is moving our state forward.
51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ is a proud recipient of the 2020 Carnegie Community Engagement Classification, a national distinction honoring the university for its exemplary community engagement practices. 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ was one of only 119 institutions to receive this classification in 2020.
