Biography

William Vu Quach, DO, FAAP, is an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Department of Pediatrics. He completed his pediatric residency at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine in 2022, earning accolades such as Outstanding Resident of the Year and the Beverly Neyland Outstanding Outpatient Clinician Award. Following his residency, Dr. Quach practiced in private pediatrics for over two years before returning to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ to pursue his passion for academic medicine.

Dr. Quach's clinical interests encompass pediatric preventive medicine and behavioral pediatrics. He has contributed to research on acute disseminated encephalomyelitis and has presented on topics ranging from neonatal care to behavioral medicine. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Quach's journey into medicine was influenced by his early commitment to community outreach and mentorship. While at Touro University Nevada, he initiated programs connecting high school and undergraduate students with medical career opportunities. During his residency at the school of medicine, he led initiatives to enhance recruitment and promote diversity in pediatrics. His dedication to education and advocacy continues to inspire his clinical and academic endeavors.
