
Tracey West
Visiting Lecturer
Biography
Tracey West earned a B.S. in business management from Bentley University and an M.Ed. program designed to develop leaders in English language education, known as Project E3. It was this work that brought her to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. After 16 years of classroom experience, West joined the Department of Early Childhood, Multilingual, and Special Education as a visiting lecturer.
West’s goal is to reach beyond the students in her classroom by instructing and coaching other pre-K through 12th-grade teachers on creating culturally and linguistically responsive learning environments and adopting equitable teaching practices that leverage the resources of emergent bilingual learners.
