51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ

Since joining 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ in 2012, Tondra De has held a variety of research and administrative roles across the university. She has served as Chief of Staff to President Chris Heavey since May 2025 and is a member of the President's Cabinet. Before this role, she served as Chief of Staff to Dr. Heavey during his tenure as Executive Vice President and Provost from 2019 to 2025.

In her current role, she serves as a senior advisor to the President and plays a central role in strategic planning, managing executive communications, and aligning institutional priorities across campus. Her position is pivotal in streamlining operations, engaging stakeholders, advancing organizational culture, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the Office of the President.

Previously, she was a director in the Office of Faculty Affairs and held prior positions as a research analyst/statistician in the Office of Decision Support, a research statistician in the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Libraries, and a senior research associate in The Lincy Institute. She has served on numerous university committees and task forces, including two terms as a member of the Faculty Senate.
