Biography
Nick Multari, M.S., MBA, is a part-time instructor of cybersecurity within the Department of Management, Entrepreneurship, & Technology of the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Nick brings a wealth of strategic leadership and technical expertise from the U.S. Air Force, the defense industry, and the private sector. In addition to serving in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a senior enlisted cyber leader, he currently leads systems engineering as the Global Head of Systems Engineering at Cubic Corporation. His areas of expertise include system architecture and design, risk management, business continuity & resilience, workforce development frameworks, and engineering management. Multari has served in academic partnerships including participation in the California Polytechnic State University's Industry Advisory Board, former industry advisor to University of West Florida (UWF) winning multiple NSA NCAE-C Cyber Workforce Development grants, and served on the IEEE Cyber Security and Resilience (CSR) Cyber Resilience and Economics Technical Program Committee. His research has focused on cyber risk modeling, cyber engineering framework application, and cross domain multi-level security.
