Biography
Juanita Hinojosa, Ph.D., (she/her/ella) proudly identifies as a first-generation college graduate and immigrant scholar. Juanita's lived experiences inform her work and research, and she is passionate about researching and developing inclusive practices and policies that advocate for and support students in higher education, particularly those from historically underrepresented communities. Hinojosa completed the Chief Diversity Officer in Higher Education (CDOHE) graduate certificate and Ph.D. in Higher Education from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. Her dissertation focused on the experiences of Latinx/a/os in rural higher education.
