51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ

Jonathan Hernandez currently serves as the Early College Specialist in the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. He supports dual and concurrent enrollment efforts in partnership with 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ faculty and high schools across the Las Vegas Valley to increase college access and readiness for local students.

Jonathan is from Orange County, CA and holds Associate of Arts degrees in History and Liberal Arts from Santa Ana College (Go Dons!) and a Bachelor of Arts in History from California State University, Long Beach (Go Beach!). Jonathan will pursue a Master’s degree in Higher Education from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ (Go Rebels!) beginning this fall. Prior to joining 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, he worked at the College of Southern Nevada as a Senior Specialist Navigator, where he supported dislocated workers through career-focused educational programs and managed over $1.5 million in grant funding.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Jonathan enjoys a good game of chess in his downtime.
