Heather Harper is the Founder and Artistic Director of Harper Continuum Dance Theatre, established in 2008. Holding a B.A. in dance production and management from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, she has cultivated a career marked by emotionally compelling choreography that pushes boundaries and engages diverse audiences. Harper’s work, including the powerful Surviving Genocide, explores societal issues through movement, while her collaborations, such as The High Project and Coalesce, merge dance and visual art to create dynamic, immersive experiences. With works presented at venues around New York City, such as Ailey Citigroup Theater and Central Park, Harper continues to innovate as a choreographer, educator, and businesswoman while continuing to work with students at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and expanding her company’s reach through virtual productions and dance films.
