Biography

Hayden E. Williams II is a Senior Instructor and Course Developer at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ), who is instrumental in developing a new undergraduate cybersecurity program. His career uniquely merges extensive experience in cybersecurity leadership, digital forensics, incident response, and threat intelligence with a strong background in higher education and corporate training. Williams is dedicated to leveraging his expertise to shape future cybersecurity professionals.

Williams holds a master of science in digital forensic science (Champlain College, VT) and a master of arts in leadership studies & educational technology (San Diego State University, CA), and a bachelor of arts in international relations (UC Davis, CA). In addition, Williams holds a current California teaching credential. His technical credentials include certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC/SANS Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), and various DOD and cyber security certifications.

Williams has taught graduate level courses in technology and cybersecurity at the State University of New York (SUNY) and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ). At 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, Williams brings this comprehensive background in cybersecurity education and training and curriculum and course development, aiming to design and implement a curriculum that empowers future cybersecurity professionals.
