Biography
Don holds a bachelor’s degree in city and regional planning from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s degree in historic preservation planning from Cornell University. Since joining 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ in 2019, he has held progressively responsible roles, beginning as Assistant Director in Student Life Maintenance and later serving as Assistant Director of Facilities Management.
His professional background includes service in the U.S. Air Force focused on construction, sustainability leadership at MGM Resorts Int., and oversight of maintenance and construction at the Luxor Hotel. This broad experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of both operational efficiency and long-term strategic planning in complex environments.
Don oversees skilled trades and custodial services at both the Maryland and Shadow Lane campuses. He is known for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to supporting the university’s mission through high-performing facilities operations.
