Biography
Alice J. Corkill came to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ in 1992 and was an associate professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ (which later became Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education). She served as department chair prior to her retirement in 2024.
She received her Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, under the guidance of Dr. John A. Glover and Dr. Roger H. Bruning. Corkill's research interests include working memory, intelligence, interference, and metacognition. She was the associate editor of Educational Psychology Review and serves on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Educational Psychology and Learning and Individual Differences. Her work was published in the above journals as well as in other distinguished journals such as Acta Psychologica.
