51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Leadership Pathways Program: A Program to Empower Everyday Leaders

Designed to help emerging leaders expand their knowledge and understanding of leadership roles at the university, the newly revamped 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Leadership Pathways program offers an opportunity for participants to engage in hands-on leadership building activities that provide a unique glimpse of university operations, leadership styles, and decision-making skills.

This is done through matching participants with university leaders who act as mentors. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in mutual mentorship groups, where they can connect with peers in similar roles.

The Leadership Pathways program is a two-semester program, beginning in the fall and continuing through the spring semester. Participants are expected to commit four to eight hours per month, including seminar attendance, meetings with mentors, and work on special projects, including a Personal Action Plan to help participants apply the lessons learned in the program to continue their leadership journey after the program concludes.

The program is open to full-time academic faculty, administrative faculty, and classified staff who have completed the Management Training Academy (MTA) course.

Applications for the 2025-2026 cohort of the Leadership Pathways program are currently being accepted. The deadline to submit applications is 5 p.m. (PST) on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Please visit the Leadership Pathways website for more details and to submit your application.
