Nominate for the Impact Awards for Community Engagement

Nominate a student or faculty member by 9 a.m. on Monday, April 14 for the Office of Service Learning and Leadership's (SLL) annual Impact Awards:

  • President’s Volunteer Service Award: federal recognition for faculty, staff, and students who are U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents and have completed at least 100 hours of community service. 
  • CASH* Award (*Community Action Service Honorarium): students who completed community service between April 2024 to March 2025. Students may win recognition and Rebel Cash. 
  • Impact Awards (Includes Mutual Aid; Direct Service; Voting and Political Engagement; Philanthropy; Advocacy; and Community Organizing): students who represent exemplary community engagement activities within the different categories. Students may win a Rebel Cash award and a token.
  • Punch Card Program: students who have attended four different SLL events and followed their new Instagram account at @sllatunlv can earn an Owala water bottle.

The Impact Awards event will be held on Wednesday, April 16 from 2:30 - 5 p.m. in SU 208 (brief awards ceremony followed by celebration with vendors offering Ben and Jerry’s, balloon animals, bracelet making, and caricatures). Faculty, staff, and students are invited to celebrate community, democratic engagement, and leadership development!
