The Graduate & Professional Student Association (GPSA) warmly invites 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ faculty to serve as judges for the 27th Annual Graduate & Professional Student Research Forum, taking place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Engineering Complex.
The Research Forum is an annual conference-style event and competition that celebrates scholarly, professional, and artistic achievements of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s graduate and professional students. It fosters interdisciplinary collaboration across colleges, departments, and industries while providing graduate students with a platform to showcase their research and creative work.
Event Highlights:
Morning I3 Invited Talks: Start the day with Inspiration, Innovation, Impact—student-led TED-style presentations, complemented by a catered breakfast.
Concurrent Sessions: Engage with a variety of research topics through poster and podium presentations in SEB and AEB.
Afternoon Awards Ceremony: Conclude the day in the Blasco Event Wing with lunch, live music, and a livestreamed awards ceremony celebrating our Annual GPSA Awards, students' outstanding contributions, and Forum session winners will be announced.
The Research Forum is open to all members of the Las Vegas community and their guests. All are welcome to attend the Awards Ceremony in person or virtually.
Opportunity for Faculty Encouragement and Recognition
Encourage your outstanding graduate students to Inspiration, Innovation, Impact Invited Talks by March 14th. This platform offers significant exposure and includes structured coaching to refine their presentation skills. This speaking opportunity recognizes students who are making an impact in their field and gives them a high-profile platform to showcase their work.
Recognize your outstanding graduate and professional students by nominating them for a GPSA Award, celebrating their research, community impact, and dedicated contributions. by March 31st!
Why Volunteer as a Judge?
Each presentation session will be evaluated by a panel of 2-3 faculty judges.
Faculty judges play a critical role in providing valuable feedback, mentoring student researchers, and fostering an environment where graduate students can excel. Help us uphold the high standards of research and presentation at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ!

How to Sign Up:
Faculty interested in serving as a judge should sign up by Friday, April 4. Judge assignments will be shared by Friday, April 11.
