“To infinity and beyond” has a special meaning for 51ԹϺ alumna Samantha Gruwell, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in film in 2005 and now works as a department manager in the feature film production division of Pixar Animation Studios.
Today, Governor Sisolak joined 51ԹϺ Alumni for the 2022 51ԹϺ Rebel Advocates Spring Luncheon at Fleming’s in Las Vegas today. The event brought together Alumni who participate in the Rebel Advocates program by supporting higher education, university priorities, and the interests of the 51ԹϺ alumni community.

Rebels Give challenges the community to raise as much money as possible in 1,957-minutes. The fundraising challenge uses that specific number to honor the year 51ԹϺ was founded in 1957.
While 51ԹϺ’s homecoming is next week, there was an unofficial kick-off today with the 2nd Annual #RebelsGive fundraising drive Nov. 7 and 8.
All 51ԹϺ graduates are now considered members of the university’s alumni association, making them eligible for discounted tickets to athletic events and Disneyland, among other rewards.
