Minority-Serving Institution Week at 51�ԹϺ��

The annual event helps to foster community and provide a safe educational environment for learning about and embracing cultural differences in and outside of the classroom.

51�ԹϺ�� will hold its Minority-Serving Institution (MSI) Week with a slate of activities Sept. 23-27, 2024. Events are focused on elevating the voices of historically underrepresented and marginalized ethnic student groups, faculty, and staff. All events are open to the entire campus community.

51�ԹϺ�� is one of the nation's most diverse institutions in the U.S., with about 70% of students identifying as part of a minority race. This year's incoming class also set new records for Hispanic enrollment (38.6%), a tie for African American/Black enrollment (16.8%), and a near-record for Native American enrollment (3.5%)

To celebrate MSI Week, we are resharing some of our favorite stories highlighting and celebrating the diversity of our campus community.
