New Student Welcome & President's BBQ
- When: Friday, Aug. 26, from noon to 2 p.m.
- Location: near 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Student Union
- Details: 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ President Neal Smatresk will officially welcome new students and their parents to the university during a campus BBQ.
51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Fall Semester Begins
- When: Monday, Aug. 29 at 8 a.m.
- Details: Throughout the day, 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ staff will run "ask me" booths to answer students' questions. The booths will be located at the Student Union Pida Plaza, the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Tam Alumni Center, Lied Library and the Alta Ham Fine Arts building.
"Premier 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ"
- When: Thursday, Sept. 1, 5 to 9 p.m.
- Location: North Field (east of the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Student Union, near the Lied Library)
- Details: featuring fireworks and the formation of a giant illuminated "51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ" created by hundreds of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students and alumni with flashlights.
51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Rebel Football Home Opener vs. University of Hawaii
- When: Saturday, Sept. 17, 7 p.m.
- Location: Sam Boyd Stadium
- Description: Join 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ head football coach Bobby Hauck and the for the first home game of the season.
51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ State of the University Speech
- When: Thursday, Sept. 22, 10 to 11: 30 a.m.
- Location: 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Artemus Ham Hall
- Details: 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ President Neal Smatresk will provide an update on the university.
