Economic forecasts for both Southern Nevada and the nation will be presented at the Mid-Year 2002 Economic Outlook Conference, scheduled for July 18 at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.
Presented by 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's Center for Business and Economic Research, the conference is set for 8 a.m. in the Fred D. Gibson Room in the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Foundation Building. The $60 registration fee includes parking in the nearby garage.
Key presenters at the conference will be R. Keith Schwer, director of the center, and Mary Riddel, associate director.
Among the topics to be discussed are the strengths and weaknesses of the national and Southern Nevada economies and the prospects for employment both in Southern Nevada and across the nation.
