DETAILS: Hispanic Heritage Month highlights and celebrates the history, culture,
and traditions of U.S. residents who trace their roots to the Spanish-
speaking nations of Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. It is celebrated from September 15 through October 15 nationwide.
51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's Hispanic Heritage Month programs are designed to educate the community about the contributions that Latina/o people have made to our academic community and beyond. Other events this month include: family night at a 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ soccer game, salsa lessons, and various lectures by university Latina/o professors.
