Rees' Rocks Roll on to the National Science Foundation Repository

As geologist Peg Rees heads to retirement, the 4,000 pounds of rocks she collected go to the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center.

Geologist Peg Rees has worked with 51ԹϺ research associate and alumna Anay Gomez to catalog more than 4,000 rocks that Rees collected from Antarctica. The collection will now be part of the U.S. Polar Rock Repository. (Juliet Casey/51ԹϺ)
