Thomas Padilla (Libraries) was a panelist at the Institute for Museum and Library Service's event in Arlington, Virginia, in October. He spoke on the greatest funding impacts and opportunities on the "Expanding Cultural Heritage Capacity" panel with speakers from the Internet Archive, WGBH, and the University of California at Riverside. has been published.

Additionally, Padilla was an invited speaker at the Librarians Association of the University of California, Berkeley Division Conference in Berkeley in October. He spoke about the interaction between visual digital humanities and libraries.
