Susan Byrne (World Languages and Cultures) recently presented at two international conferences. The first presentation, “Los tres poderes incorpóreos en Cervantes, desde La Galatea al Persiles,” was presented in June at UiT, the Arctic University of Norway, at Tromso, during a conference titled Cervantes en el Septentrión. The second paper, “La curiosidad en el پó de Gracián,” was presented this month during the XI conference of the Asociación Internacional Siglo de Oro (AISO), held in Madrid. Byrne is a member of the Board of Directors (Junta Directiva) of AISO, which celebrated its 30th anniversary during the conference with an invited visit to the in Madrid.
