Dr. Sonal Shah (Dental) received the American Academy of Oral Medicine’s "Honorary Fellowship" award during a joint annual meeting with the European Academy of Oral Medicine earlier this year. This award is bestowed every few years to members with outstanding accomplishments in each of the following areas: oral medicine teaching and national lectures, clinical knowledge and practice, research and publications, and sustained service to the academy at a national officer level.
