Dr. Skylar Riggs (Medicine), a senior emergency medicine resident in the Department of Emergency Medicine, delivered an outstanding oral research abstract presentation at the Western Regional SAEM Conference held at UC Irvine on April 10-11, 2025. Riggs presented his team's abstract titled:
Riggs S, Edrissi C, Molion M, Herrera P, Giles G, Slattery DE. "A Single Fiberoptic Intubation Training Session is Insufficient to Decrease Resident Intubation Times."
Dr. Garren Giles is an assistant professor and serves as the medical student education director and Dr. David Slattery is a professor and the director of research for the Department of Emergency Medicine.
