Robert C. Wang, Suparna Shah, Jeffrey Moxley, Erik Kubiak and Muhammed F. Shand (all Medicine) published work titled, "." Their findings appeared in The Laryngoscope, a monthly peer-reviewed medical journal in the field of otolaryngology (ENT). The surgeons, working on human cadavers, demonstrated that it is feasible to expose the cricoarytenoid joint without neuromuscular or joint ligamentous injury from an external approach and insert an anchor of a hemiarthroplasty system.
