Director Riana Durrett (Cannabis Policy Institute) joined a panel of cannabis industry stakeholders and other experts on June 12 for the International Cannabis Bar Association's (INCBA) 2025 Cannabis Law Institute conference in Denver, Colorado. The panel, "The Next Decade of Cannabis: Springboarding Forward from the Initial State Regulatory Systems," explored "the next frontier in cannabis policy and reform, covering a wide range of issues with experts from across the spectrum." Durrett was joined by Strategies 64 partner, Jordan Wellington; attorney Jason Adelstone of Harris Sliwoski LLP; senior vice president of public affairs at US Cannabis Roundtable, David Culver; and GMP Collective CEO, David Vaillencourt. The panel discussed international cannabis policy, federal reform, standardization for state regulatory programs, and hospitality and gaming.
