An-Pyng Sun (Social Work) published a peer-reviewed article, "Helping Homeless Individuals with Co-Occurring Disorders: The Four Components," in Social Work, a premium journal in the social work field. She also wrote a chapter, "Gender, Substance Use, and Substance Use Disorders," for Chemical Dependency: A Systems Approach (2012). Additionally, she presented preliminary findings of the study "Substance Abuse among the Chinese in Taiwan: An Examination of Risk Factors and Treatment Strategies" at a conference sponsored by the Taiwan Society of Mental Health Social Work, the Taipei city department of health, the Bali Psychiatric Center, and Soochow University in Taipei, Taiwan, in June.
