Lee Business Students Shine at 2025 Rebel Awards
The 2025 Rebel Awards ceremony, held on April 16 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the Student Union Ballrooms, brought together the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ community to recognize outstanding achievements across campus. Hosted annually, the Rebel Awards celebrate the students, organizations, and teams who exemplify leadership, engagement, and the Rebel spirit.
This year, Lee Business School was proudly represented across multiple top honors—showcasing the talent, dedication, and impact of its student leaders.
Among the standout winners:
- Mia Tschan, named Rebel of the Year – First-Year, was recognized for her academic excellence, civic leadership, and active involvement with organizations such as 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ x ACLU and Pre-Law Women of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.
- Feliza Cunanan, honored as Rebel of the Year – Third Year and Beyond, was celebrated for her resilience, commitment to service, and leadership across academic and extracurricular communities.
- Allister Dias, named an Outstanding Student Leader, was acknowledged for his visionary work in student government and his efforts to expand campus resources and student engagement.
- Georgia Barrett, also named an Outstanding Student Leader, was recognized for her leadership within Lee Business Connections and as a Lead Peer Mentor, where she helped foster community and connection for first-year students.
- The Kerestesi Student Workers earned the Outstanding Student Team award for their exceptional work in launching the new Insurance and Risk Management BSBA program, including securing funding, driving outreach, and forging industry partnerships.
