Kenneth Varner, Steven Bickmore, P. G. Schrader (all Teaching and Learning), and Danica G. Hays (Education), along with David L. Carlson (University of Arizona) and Dorothea Anagnostopolous (University of Connecticut) just had their second edited volume of the released from DiO Press. This volume, the second of two, carefully weaves together more than 33 chapters with perspectives on the processes, leadership, commitments, and hope associated with the experience of COVID-19. Like Volume 1, this new book centers a commitment to not losing the power narrative — the power to chronicle, the power to transform, the power to inspire, the power to build allyship through hardship. This edited volume has contributions from Doris Watson (Educational Psychology and Higher Education), Iesha Jackson (Teaching and Learning), as well as two local teachers Kenneth Brown and Laurents Banuelos-Benitez who are also graduates of the College of Education.
