Professor John Curry (History) presented a preliminary paper titled, “New Insights on the Presentation of the Ming Dynasty at the Ottoman Court: the case of MS Ayasofya 3188,” on April 29 to the 2023 meeting of the in Vancouver, Canada. As a founding member of the organization and its record-keeper since 2010, Curry also chaired the closing session and business meeting to discuss potentially bringing a future iteration of the workshop to Las Vegas in the coming years.
