Jay Shen (Center for Health Disparities Research; Healthcare Administration and Policy) is currently leading an interdisciplinary team to conduct the COVID-19 Health Disparity Assessment and Healthcare Equity Modeling project, funded by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention through the Southern Nevada Health District, with a total amount of $247,954. The project team is composed of faculty from all four departments in School of Public, as well as faculty from College of Engineering, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, Nevada Minority Health and Equity Coalition, Center for Health Disparities Research, and Nevada Institute for Children's Research and Policy. The project also has four graduate research assistants.
