Two of Lee Business School’s outstanding peer mentors were recognized at the 2025 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Peer Mentor Awards:
Marco Lau received the Outstanding Event in Peer Mentoring Award for his work creating inclusive opportunities that helped his mentees feel more connected to campus life. As a board member for the club, Lau personally encouraged his mentees to attend events like Mingling and Mocktails, helping them build confidence, expand their networks, and feel at home at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. His intentional efforts reflect a deep commitment to student growth and engagement.
Georgia Barrett, Lead Peer Mentor, earned the Power of One Award for her incredible contributions behind the scenes. Barrett has been instrumental in supporting both mentees and fellow mentors through thoughtful leadership, program coordination, and mentorship. Her work often happens quietly, but the impact she makes on the Peer Mentor Program is powerful and lasting.
