Darcy Del Bosque (Libraries) is the winner of the James S. McPhee Librarian of the Year Award. She was nominated for her compassionate leadership of the Research, Innovation, and Creation department in the University Libraries over the past five years, which has included onboarding new staff, implementing technology changes to benefit 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students, and strategically increasing student use of the Makerspace and Multimedia Studios in Lied Library. She has served the Libraries and the university on various committees, and has provided leadership for the American Library Association's Emerging Technologies Section of the Reference and User Services Association. She has also published and presented on the library user experience at conferences across the country.
