Danny Young () was awarded a part-time faculty fellowship with the (CoHSTAR). During the 18-month program, he will work with his mentor, Alan Jette from Boston University, on acute hospital, physical therapy outcomes research. CoHSTAR is a first-of-its-kind center of excellence designed for training physical therapists to conduct health services research, which is needed to inform health policy and improve patients’ quality of care. The center builds upon the well-established, interdisciplinary, intellectually rigorous, and nationally renowned health services research and training infrastructure available at its trio of collaborating institutions — Boston University, Brown University, and University of Pittsburg.
