Dan Werra (Libraries) is the winner of the Libraries' Administrative Faculty of the Year Award. He was nominated for his outstanding customer service and creative problem solving in the growth and maintenance of University Libraries technologies. He has worked closely within the Libraries on technology upgrades that benefit both faculty and students, while responding to voluminous technology support requests and managing the technology purchasing process on behalf of the Libraries. His efforts have a direct impact on 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s students by improving the user experience with public computers, classroom technology, and equipment in the Makerspace and Multimedia Studios. Werra's depth of knowledge across both PC and Apple devices, printers, audiovisual equipment, and numerous software environments enables him to provide exceptional support in service of the Libraries’ educational mission, ensuring smooth and consistent operation of services.
