Congratulations to the entire faculty from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's Radiography program for participating in the 50th annual conference for the Association of Collegiate Educators in Radiologic Technology (ACERT) in Las Vegas. Chad Hensley, Director of the Radiography program, gave the conference's keynote address that included more than 900 students and faculty in attendance from around the country. Hensley gave the Charles Jacobi Memorial lecture, named after the founder of ACERT, who also served as the director of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s Radiography from 1967-81. 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ hosted the first ACERT conference in 1975.
Faculty members Heidi Shelton and Chrissie Choa also presented at the annual conference and adjunct professor Michael Tarby represented 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ by presenting at the Nevada Society of Radiologic Technologists conference.
