Celene Fuller (Sociology) was recently announced as the 2025-2026 . The Robert E. Lang Memorial Fellowship is awarded annually to an outstanding 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Ph.D. student completing a dissertation in metropolitan public policy broadly defined with special consideration given to applicants focusing their research on the Las Vegas metropolitan region and public policy in the Mountain West. Celene is completing a Ph.D. in Sociology and focusing her dissertation on sexual and reproductive minorities in Nevada. Her research examines the role of stigma in abortion care and access among those in non-traditional lifestyle communities. Celene’s research will inform state policy regarding abortion and reproductive freedom.
