Caitlin Saladino (Brookings Mountain West, The Lincy Institute) recently was recognized as recipient of the 2020 Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award during the fall 2020 Virtual Undergraduate Research Symposium, sponsored by the office of undergraduate research (OUR). This award recognizes her excellence in inspiring, influencing, supporting, and mentoring undergraduate researchers in their professional development, career training, and educational journey. She was recognized for going above and beyond to ensure student success in the policy realm and mentored several undergraduate researchers at this symposium. speak to her commitment to students, her encouragement of their individual research goals, and her dedication to helping them find their voice in public policy. Along with director William E. Brown Jr., she administers the , an expert and expanding public policy resource for data on issues critical to Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Mountain West region. She also serves as instructor and curriculum designer for courses in the Brookings Public Policy Minor.
