Bob Aalberts (Accounting) is coauthor of an article that appeared in the Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation published by the Oregon Law School. The article, "In Third Parties We Trust? The Growing Antitrust Impact of Third-Party Green Building Certification Systems for State and Local Governments" explores the growing use of "green" building rating systems by third parties like the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED system, and the competition among these parties to provide their services to state and local governments. This competition, the authors suggest, may have antitrust implications. Coauthors are Darren Prum, a former 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ instructor who now works at Florida State University, and Stephen Del Percio of URS Corp.
