Asma Awan, Timothy Grigsby, and Christopher Johansen, (all Social and Behavioral Health), Chia-Liang Dai (Teaching and Learning), and Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health and Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine) presented a poster titled, "," on May 14, 2025, at the VA Research Week held at VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System's Poster Presentation and Scientific Roundtable Event on 100 Year's of VA. The poster explained the outcomes of findings related to seeking of visual screening tests for colorectal cancer among adults aged 45-75 years using the modified initiation theoretical paradigm of the multi-theory model (MTM) of health behavior change. The study emphasizes the importance of MTM which can be utilized as a useful framework to design educational interventions in veterans' population at all levels. Awan is also a graduate student.
