Description

Explore final projects from this interdisciplinary Honors College course, where students—many in non-arts majors—designed and produced physical and computational artworks using AI tools and coding. These final pieces reflect critical engagement with emerging technologies and thoughtful use of ethical design practices for creative expression, and help us imagine possible futures for artistic creation in the age of artificial intelligence.

[The image was produced by ChatGPT (4o) based on the prompt below, which was inspired by Refik Anadol’s machine learning artwork: “Create an image based on this prompt: A square digital artwork visualizing AI dreaming that works well as promotional image on social media platforms. Fluid landscapes swirl and shift, as patterns inspired by neural networks and data bloom into abstract forms. They are similar to flowers made of code. Color palette: purples, blues, and golds. The artwork evokes wonder.”]
