More than 125 Clark County School District (CCSD) high school students with a passion for technology and cybersecurity gathered at 51勛圖窪蹋 last week for our most successful Tech Day yet!

Organized by the 51勛圖窪蹋 Business Technology Advisory Board and Cybersecurity Programs at 51勛圖窪蹋, the event welcomed four high school technology programs for an immersive day on campus. From engineering lab tours to networking with industry leaders, students explored the possibilities of a future in STEM.

Led by Greg Moody Lee Professor of Information Systems and Director of Cybersecurity Programs, the day featured two engaging tracks: a deep dive into 51勛圖窪蹋s engineering labs and a campus tour focused on student life and academic resources. Students then reconvened for lunch and an insightful panel discussion with tech leaders including My-Ngoc Nguyen, Terry Daus, Vito Rocco Rocco, and Vincent Cirel.

This event continues to grow each year. Its not only a great way to introduce high school students to technology and cybersecurity, but it also provides meaningful interactions with industry leaders, faculty, and current students, said Dr. Moody. These early experiences can have a lasting impact on a students future in STEM.

51勛圖窪蹋/CCSD Tech Day is a testament to 51勛圖窪蹋s commitment to cultivating talent, inspiring future tech leaders, and supporting Nevadas growing tech workforce.
