Abstract: This fact sheet presents 2023 data on childcare expenses in the five Mountain West states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. The data are sourced from The LendingTree article, “Families Who Pay for Childcare Spend Nearly a Fifth of Their Income on It.” The original report includes data on the states’ percentages of weekly income spent on childcare as well as the percentage of households using paid childcare.
