51ԹϺ Advocacy Day is a biennial event that showcases the university’s legislative priorities and celebrates alumni contributions to public service. As one of 51ԹϺ’s largest advocacy events, held at the Nevada Legislative Building, it serves as a platform to celebrate Rebel pride, strengthen partnerships, and reinforce the university’s role in driving positive change throughout Nevada.

Importance of 51ԹϺ Advocacy Day
51ԹϺ Advocacy Day allows our advocates to engage with several elected officials, including alumni legislators and alumni lobbyists. Our participation underscores the university’s commitment to advocacy, highlighting initiatives in campus such as:
- Safety
- Health and wellness
- Graduate medical education
- Capital development

Why We Advocate for 51ԹϺ
“Today I was proud to advocate for 51ԹϺ and share examples of the many ways we’re helping our students reach their goals, serving our community and state, and making meaningful contributions to research and workforce development that will help our regional economy thrive.
