The Roles of a Rebel Advocate

The most important part of being an advocate is with your name and email address. Should an issue present itself at the Federal Government, State Government, Nevada Legislature, the County Commission, or City Council, etc., the 51�ԹϺ��� Alumni Association will be able to pull your information quickly to issue a Call to Action.

Rebel Advocates can further their impact by:

1. Learning about what is new and exciting at 51�ԹϺ��� and the efforts of the 51�ԹϺ��� Alumni Association.
2. Reconnecting with your college to understand its issues and needs.
3. Networking with fellow 51�ԹϺ��� alumni, neighbors, and friends by attending an event.
4. Being ready to participate in a Call to Action. The Call to Action will be emailed to you with instructions about what is needed.
   1. Examples of calls to action include being asked to write a letter or send an email to your elected officials; testifying at a hearing or attending a meeting; reposting messages on your social media accounts; or simply just asking fellow 51�ԹϺ��� alumni to become a Rebel Advocate.

Advocacy Committee

You can also join the Alumni Association’s Advocacy Committee, where you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow alumni, engage in meaningful discussions about public policy, and help amplify the voices of our alumni community through strategic advocacy efforts.
